Can you say exactly where you are right now?
Perhaps the first thing that comes to mind in response to this question is the local coordinates of the place we are in. But if we think a little deeper about this question, we realize that determining where we are at the moment is not that simple. We are going along the path of our spiritual journey. We came to ourselves when we realized that we had traveled a part of this path, while having no precise knowledge of the origin and destination of our journey. We know that this origin and destination have characteristics that are essential for us to know. But if we do not know where we came from and where we are going, how can we align ourselves with the conditions of the destination? How can we understand what tools we need to arrive safely at our destination?
We are even unable to know our own qualities. On this journey, in addition to the roadmap, we definitely need a guide and leader who is aware of our existential structure; who knows the rules and laws of the path; who knows the characteristics of our origin and destination well, to prepare us according to our ultimate destination.
