The Relation Between the Laws of Creation and Desires of the Human

Can we blend the delicacy of our desires with the rigidity of laws? The answer depends on which law we are discussing. Usually, when we think of laws, we recall a set of complex and heavy terms or a series of complicated sentences filled with clauses. These are characteristics of human laws, but what distinguishes a law from other matters is the obligation to follow it. This aspect is common to all laws, regardless of whether they are human, divine, material, or immaterial.

To illustrate the nature of laws, let us consider a few examples. Have you ever tried to sit on air or walk on water? Or have you put your hand in fire or expected that by pressing the gas pedal, your car would stop? Naturally, no. But why?

Basically, we humans have accepted that there are laws in our world that govern our lives, and we must follow them, whether we like it or not. Since childhood, either others have taught us these laws or we have learned them over time through trial and error. Examples include the law of gravity, the heaviness and lightness of objects, the law of action and reaction, the dominance of the stronger over the weaker, and many others. Whether we are a Nobel laureate in Physics or a simple farmer, these laws apply equally to everyone, irrespective of our educational attainment. Only those who understand and can analyze them properly experience less trouble and can even use these laws to their advantage.

For example, a farmer with sloping land knows that trees at the top will receive less water. Therefore, they plant water-intensive trees lower down, even without knowing the name of the law of gravity; they understand that water naturally flows downward.

Just like there are laws governing our material world that we must follow, there are also laws that govern our existence and inevitably influence our desires. Like the law of measures, the mathematical nature of creation, desire for infinity, the law of decree and destiny, the laws governing our existential structure and so on. We cannot ignore the relation between the laws of creation and desires of the human.

Examples of the Laws of Creation

If we are aware of the laws of creation or the relation between the laws of creation and desires, we will be more careful in the type and size of our requests and the arrangement of our desires. This brings us closer to the ultimate goal of our creation.

For example, according to the mathematics governing the world and the law of measurements, if we give excessive importance to our material desires, our animalistic dimension becomes stronger and dominates us, preventing our human dimension from functioning. Consequently, we miss out on achieving our ultimate life goals. Based on the law of desire for infinity, there is no end to our desires. Due to our insatiable desire, we are never fully satisfied with our achievements in any area. We constantly strive to fulfill our desire for perfection, jumping from one goal to another. Even before reaching a certain level, we think about climbing higher. We always seek change, variety, and an increase in our possessions, wandering from one wish to another, and this prevents us from finding lasting happiness and peace. We only find peace when we direct our infinite desires in the right way, aiming towards the Absolute Infinity, which is God. In reality, we inevitably move under the influence of the relation between the laws of creation and desires.

The Law of Decree and Destiny

The law of decree and destiny is another example of the laws of creation. Similar to the omnipresent law of actions and reactions, the law of decree and destiny is pivotal and influences all aspects of our lives. We are immersed in decree and destiny in the world of creation, and we do not live outside of it. We either want different decrees from God or live according to destiny that results from our desires, even if we are unaware that these outcomes stem from our initial wishes.

For example, we ask God to allow us to live in a certain part of a city or country. If this wish is granted, the rest of our life’s destinies will align with this desire. In other words, each of our wishes can alter our life’s path. For instance, we cannot decide to live in France and expect that, despite the country’s ban on the hijab, our children will grow up in a healthy environment, go to school without any trouble, and start families. We cannot marry an inappropriate person and hope that our children will be raised properly.

We cannot escape the relation between the laws of creation and desires, but we can manage our wishes and ultimately our lives by learning these laws. For example, based on the law of decree and destiny, our choices and desires directly impact our lives, much like the law of action and reaction. Essentially, we cannot have a wish without facing its consequences. Therefore, if we want to create positive changes in our lives, we must reconsider our decisions and arrange our desires more carefully. According to this law, the path of our lives is influenced by our wishes and choices.

Problem-Solving in the System of Desires

When a system does not function as expected, we quickly seek to identify the problem to understand which part is not working according to plan. The same applies to our desires; whenever we fail to achieve a desire despite our best efforts, it means our efforts have not been in line with the laws of creation or have even contradicted them. In simpler terms, we have not considered the relation between the laws of creation and desires. To resolve the issue, we must identify this law and align ourselves with it. For example, if we constantly seek to attain vegetative perfections, we should not expect growth in our intellective or supra-rational dimensions, as we have prioritized the lower dimensions of our being over these.

First, we need to familiarize ourselves with our existential structure and then prioritize our desires based on their true importance. In fact, understanding the relation between the laws of creation and desires helps us have wishes that are appropriate to our human value, then we can properly arrange them and ultimately get closer to ultimate goal of our creation.

In this article, we discussed that just as the physical world is governed by laws, our creation and life also follow their own specific laws. Whether we like it or not, these laws affect our lives and can even change its direction. Understanding the relation between the laws of creation and desires and aligning ourselves with them help us arrange our wishes and get closer to our main goal faster.

This article introduced us to examples of the laws governing the world of creation.
