يَامَنْ لَا يَخْفَی عَلَيْهِ أَنْبَاءُ الْمُتَظَلِّمِینَ
O He who does not ignore the complaints of the wronged!
وَيَا مَنْ لَايَحْـتَاجُ فِي قَصَصِهِمْ إِلَی شَهَادَاتِ الشَّاهِدِينَ
O He who does not need the testimony of witnesses for their stories!
وَيَا مَنْ قَرُبَتْ نُصْرَتُهُ مِنَ الْمَظْلُومِینَ، وَيَا مَنْ بَعُدَ عَوْنُهُ عَنِ الظَّالِمِینَ
O He whose help is near to the oppressed! O He who never supports oppressors!
قَدْ عَلِمْتَ يَا إِلَهِي مَا نَالَنِي مِنْ «فُلَانِ بْنِ فُلَانٍ» مِمَّا حَظَرْتَ
My God, You know what [so-and-so son of so-and-so] has done to me, how he has transgressed Your bounds against me
وَانْتَهَكَهُ مِنِّي مِمَّا حَجَزْتَ عَلَيْهِ، بَطَراً فِي نِعْمَتِكَ عِنْدَەُ، وَاغْتِـرَارًا بِنَكِیرِكَ عَلَيْهِ
and violated what You have forbidden. He was insolent toward me through Your favor to him and he dared [to wrong me] because of Your patience toward him.
اَللّٰهُمَّ فَصَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ وَخُذْ ظَالِمِي وَعَدُوِّي عَنْ ظُلْمِي بِقُوَّتِكَ
O Allah! bless Muhammad and his family, Through Your power, prevent my oppressor and enemy from oppressing me,
وَافْلُلْ حَدَّەُ عَنِّي بِقُدْرَتِكَ، وَاجْعَلْ لَهُ شُغْلًا فِيمَا يَلِيهِ، وَعَجْزاً عَمَّا يُنَاوِيهِ
Protect me, by Your might, against his sharp attacks, occupy him with what concerns him, and make him incapable regarding what he seeks against me.
اَللّٰهُمَّ وَصَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ، وَلَا تُسَوِّغْ لَهُ ظُلْمِي، وَأَحْسِنْ عَلَيْهِ عَوْنِي
O Allah! Bless Muhammad and his family, do not allow the oppressor to succeed in wronging me, help me against him,
وَاعْصِمْنِي مِنْ مِثْلِ أَفْعَالِهِ، وَلَا تَجْعَلْنِي في مِثْلِ حَالِهِ
protect me from doing acts like his, and never place me in a condition like his.
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ، وَأَعِدْنِي عَلَيْهِ عَدْوًى حَاضِرَةً، تَكُونُ مِنْ غَيْظِي بِهِ شِفَاءً، وَمِنْ حَنَقِي عَلَيْهِ وَفَاءً
O Allah! Bless Muhammad and his family, and grant me an immediate victory over my enemy, so that my anger toward him may subside and he may suffer the consequences of his deeds.
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ، وَعَوِّضْنِي مِنْ ظُلْمِهِ لِي عَفْوَكَ
O Allah! Bless Muhammad and his family, and compensate me for his wrong to me with Your pardon and forgiveness,
وَأَبْدِلْنِي بِسُوءِ صَنِيعِهِ بِي رَحْمَتَكَ
and his bad behavior toward me with Your mercy,
فَكُلُّ مَكْرُوهٍ جَلَلٌ دُونَ سَخَطِكَ
for every hardship is trivial compared to Your wrath,
وَكُلُّ مَرْزِئَةٍ سَوَاءٌ مَعَ مَوْجِدَتِكَ
and every misfortune trivial alongside Your displeasure.
اَللّٰهُمَّ فَكَمَا كَرَّهْتَ إِلَيَّ أَنْ أُظْلَمَ، فَقِنِي مِنْ أَنْ أَظْلِمَ
O Allah! Just as You have made me hate being wronged, So protect me from oppressing others!
اَللّٰهُمَّ لَا أَشْكُو إِلَی أَحَدٍ سِوَاكَ، وَلَا أَسْتَعِینُ بِحَاكِمٍ غَیْرِكَ، حَاشَاكَ
O Allah! I complain to no one but You, and I seek help from no judge but You, far be it from me to do so.
فَصَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ، وَصِلْ دُعَائِي بِالْإِجَابَةِ، وَاقْرِنْ شِكَايَتِي بِالتَّغْيِیرِ
So bless Muhammad and his family, answer my prayer, and pair my complaint with a change in my current situation.
اَللّٰهُمَّ لَا تَفْتِنِّي بِالْقُنُوطِ مِنْ إِنْصَافِكَ، وَلَا تَفْتِنْهُ بِالْأَمْنِ مِنْ إِنْكَارِكَ
O Allah! do not try me by despair of Your justice, and do not try the enemy with feeling secure from Your vengeance.
فَيُصِرَّ عَلَی ظُلْمِي، وَيُحَاضِرَنِي بِحَقِّي
Lest he persists in wronging me and continues to hold my right,
وَعَرِّفْهُ عَمَّا قَلِيلٍ مَا أَوْعَدْتَ الظَّالِمِینَ، وَعَرِّفْنِي مَا وَعَدْتَ مِنْ إِجَابَةِ الْمُضْطَرِّينَ
soon make him know what You have promised the oppressors, and let me know what You have promised of answering the distressed.
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ وَوَفِّقْنِي لِقَبُولِ مَا قَضَيْتَ لِي وَعَلَیََّّ
O Allah! Bless Muhammad and his family, enable me to accept what You have decreed for and against me,
وَرَضِّنِي بِمَا أَخَذْتَ لِي وَمِنِّي، وَاهْدِنِي لِلَّتِي هِيَ أَقْوَمُ، وَاسْتَعْمِلْنِي بِمَا هُوَ أَسْلَمُ
content me with what You have given me and taken from me guide me to the most upright path, and employ me in what is soundest. O Allah! And if the best choice with You is in delaying my vindication,
اَللّٰهُمَّ وَإِنْ كَانَتِ الْخِیَرَةُ لِي عِنْدَكَ فِي تَأْخِیرِ الْأَخْذِ لِي، وَتَرْكِ الِانْتِقَامِ مِمَّنْ ظَلَمَنِي إِلَی يَـوْمِ الْفَصْلِ وَمَجْمَعِ الْخَصْمِ
and postponing the retribution against the one who wronged me until the Day of Judgement and the assembly of disputes,
فَصَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ، وَأَيِّدْنِي مِنْكَ بِنِيَّةٍ صَادِقَةٍ، وَصَبْرٍ دَائِمٍ
then bless Muhammad and his family, support me with a sincere intention and lasting patience,
وَأَعِذْنِي مِنْ سُوءِ الرَّغْبَةِ، وَهَلَعِ أَهْلِ الْحِرْصِ
protect me from evil desires and the anxiety of the greedy,
وَصَوِّرْ فِي قَلْبِي مِثَالَ مَا ادَّخَرْتَ لِي مِنْ ثَوَابِكَ، وَأَعْدَدْتَ لِخَصْمِي مِنْ جَزَائِكَ وَعِقَابِكَ
place in my heart the image of what You have stored up for me of Your reward, and prepared for my adversary of Your punishment and penalty.
وَاجْعَلْ ذَلِكَ سَبَباً لِقَنَاعَتِي بِمَا قَضَيْتَ، وَثِقَتِي بِمَا تَخَیَّرْتَ
Make this a cause of my contentment with Your decree, and trust in Your choice.
آمِینَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِینَ، إِنَّكَ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ وَأَنْتَ عَلَی كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Amen, Lord of the worlds! Surely You are the Possessor of great bounty, and You have power over all things.
