If we do not eat, hunger disturbs our peace; if we do not drink, thirst makes us uneasy; if we do not have a friend or confidant, loneliness drains our energy. When we do not understand why the wind blows, why it rains, how plants grow, or why day and night come and go, we feel confused and lost. In the Lifestyle Book, each chapter is a journey toward peace and happiness
All our efforts aim to find our lost one and reclaim a part of us from restlessness and anxiety, bringing it to peace. The one thirsty and hungry searches for water and food. What the intellect seeks is knowledge and understanding, while the lover looks for their beloved. Every desire we feel inside has a counterpart in the outside world. So why, despite our efforts, do we struggle to find lasting happiness and peace?
In the Lifestyle Book, we learn that the world is a gym that transfers us to a new arena with every decision and choice we make. We are constantly in competition and practice. Every decision and action leads us toward acquiring a new attribute or name. In these arenas, we learn how to become generous, kind, and honest and acquire thousands of other names and attributes, and with each decision, we either get closer to or further away from acquiring them.
Happiness, peace, and love require practice. To achieve these states, we need to write our Lifestyle Book so that everything is in its right place at the right time. This can only be done by knowing the right lifestyle and working toward it.
In the Lifestyle Book, we will review our insights from the journey of knowing the human being and try to put what we have learned in its right place.
