"Existential Proportion Mother's Womb: Independent of the World?"

What Is Existential Proportion? What Is the Relationship between the Womb, the World, and the Hereafter?

If one of your friends invites you to her house in a city that does not actually exist, how would you react? You probably think this is ridiculous and meaningless, or you may see it more as a joke because you have accepted that the existence of any house requires the existence of a city in which the house is built. So the first condition for the existence of something is the existence of its prerequisites and necessities. For example, if there is no tree, there will be no fruit, or until a human being exists, there will not be any body parts to grow or possibly suffer pain or injury.

There is an existential proportion between the mother’s womb and the world; that is, if there is no world, a mother or a mother’s womb in which the fetus takes shape and matures will not exist. In fact, all the events that occur in the mother’s womb are ruled by the world, from the temperature of the environment in which the fetus is placed, to the amount of nourishment it receives, and the conditions of difficulty or ease it faces during growth and development, etc. We cannot imagine the mother’s womb without the world in which it is situated. If the actions and efforts of the fetus in the mother’s womb are understandable to us, it is because of the existence of the world, and as soon as the connection of the parts of the mother’s womb with the world is cut off, nothing of it remains.

According to the Law of Proportion, there is an existential proportion between our world and the hereafter; that is, if the hereafter which surrounds the world does not exist, there will be no world. In fact, just as the mother’s womb is defined within the world, the world is also defined by the existence of the hereafter, and all its events are governed by Barzakh and the realm that surrounds it. All the components of the world are related to Barzakh and the hereafter, and as soon as the connection between the world and the hereafter is cut off, the world and everything in it will be destroyed.

Existential Relation between the Mother’s Womb, the World, and the Hereafter

If we examine the existential proportion and relation between the world and the mother’s womb in more detail and with greater precision, we see that the world as a magnificent, advanced, and wondrous realm creates another world within itself called the mother’s womb. This place is very insignificant and small compared to the world, but it has a special capability, that is, the constructive capability. The world sends something from within itself into the mother’s womb, which connects with a part of the mother’s womb and begins cell division, organ formation, and embryo formation. Ultimately, after going through its own stages of development, the fetus returns to the world and prepares for life in a space infinitely greater, more complete, advanced, and powerful than the mother’s womb. In fact, we are faced with a downward movement from the world to the mother’s womb and then an upward movement from the mother’s womb to the world. According to the Law of Proportion, the relationship between the world and the realm of Malakut, or the realm higher than the world, is similar to the relationship between the mother’s womb and the world.

This existential proportion also exists in the relationship between the world and the hereafter, and the same downward and upward journey that we mentioned about the mother’s womb and the world also exists in the relationship between the womb of the world and the hereafter. That is, first our soul descends from a much more expansive, complete, and advanced realm than this world. Then it is accepted by the human sperm drop, which is a part of the world; after going through its stages of development, it returns to the hereafter. The hereafter, which is the malakut of the world, is much more complete, advanced, and vibrant than the world, and living in it requires preparation. This preparation can only be achieved through the womb of the world, which has the capability to build up our soul.

The Downward and Upward Journey of the Soul from the Hereafter to the World

In the relationship between the mother’s womb and the world, and the relationship between the world and the hereafter, initially there has been a realm that created, within itself, a womb with the constructive capability. Then, a being with the potential for becoming and development has been transferred from a higher realm to the womb. After going through stages of development and acquiring readiness to enter the world from which it came, that being returns again to its original home.

Therefore, there are eight stages in this relation:

  • First, the formation of an environment called the womb of the world with the constructive capability, compatible with the living conditions of the hereafter within the hereafter.
  • Second, the formation of an environment called the mother’s womb with the constructive capability, compatible with the living conditions of the world within the world.
  • Third, the entry of a being from the world to the mother’s womb, a being which is capable of becoming and development, or philosophically speaking, a being, named a sperm drop, with potential abilities, followed by the formation of an egg cell, and then the formation of a fetus.
  • Fourth, the entry of a being from the hereafter to the womb of the world; a being who is capable of becoming and development, or philosophically speaking, a being named the soul, with potential abilities.
  • Fifth, the entry of the soul into the mother’s womb to acquire the ability to live in the world, and the completion of the body.
  • Sixth, the return of the potential being from the mother’s womb to the world, after acquiring necessary abilities, or philosophically speaking, after actualizing its potentials.
  • Seventh, the presence of the potential being in the world to acquire necessary abilities for living in the hereafter.
  • Eighth, the return of the potential being to the hereafter and the actualization of inherent qualities and potentials of the soul.

In fact, without the existence of the world, there would be no mother, no mother’s womb, and no downward, upward, and developmental journey. On this basis, without the existence of the hereafter, there would be no world, and no downward, upward, and developmental journey.

In this article, we discussed the existential proportion between the mother’s womb and the world, and between the world and the hereafter. We stated that the existence of the womb is dependent on the existence of a world that creates the womb within itself and manages what happens within the womb. Without this world, there would be no womb, and no development would take place. We also examined in more detail the downward journey towards the mother’s womb and the womb of the world, going through the stages of development in them, and the upward journey towards the realm that encompasses the mother’s womb and the womb of the world.

According to the Law of Proportion, the relationship between the mother’s womb and the world, and between the world and the hereafter is not limited to existential proportion.
