يَا مَنْ سَبَقَ عِلْمُهُ وَ نَفَذَ حُكْمُهُ، صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَ أَزِلْ حِلْمَكَ عَنْ ظَالِمِي
O You whose knowledge has encompassed all things and whose wisdom flows through every place! Send Your blessings upon Muhammad and his pure family, and withdraw Your patience from the oppressor who has wronged me.
وَ بَادِرْهُ بِالنِّقمَةِ،[1] وَ عَاجِلْهُ بِالاِسْتِئصَالِ
Hasten his punishment and bring about his destruction swiftly.
وَ كُبَّهُ لِمَنْخَرِهِ، وَ أَغْصِصْهُ[2] بِرِيقِهِ، وَ ارْدُدْ كَيْدَهُ فِي نَحْرِهِ
Defeat him heavily, choke his breath with his own saliva, and turn his plots and deceptions back upon him.
وَ حُلْ بَيْنِي وَ بَيْنَهُ بِشُغْلٍ شَاغِلٍ وَ سُقْمٍ دَائِمٍ
Preoccupy him with a calamity, and afflict him with an unending illness that will keep him away from me.
وَ اسْلُبْهُ رَوْحَ الرَّاحَةِ، وَ اشْدُدْ عَلَيْهِ الْوَطْأَةَ
Take away his comfort and peace; deal harshly with him.
وَ خُذْهُ بِالْمُخَنَّقِ وَ حَرِّجْهُ فِي صَدْرِهِ
Cause him to perish by suffocation and tighten his chest with distress.
وَ لَا تُثَبِّتْ لَهُ قَدَماً وَ نَكِّلْهُ وَ اجْتُثَّهُ
Strip him of steadfastness and inflict Your punishment on him.
وَ اسْتَأْصِلْهُ وَ جُبَّهُ، وَ أَنْزِعْ لِبَاسَ نِعْمَتِكَ عَنْهُ، وَ أَلْبِسْهُ الصِّغَارَ
Uproot him, weaken his foundation, and destroy him. Remove Your blessings from him, and cast him into humiliation and disgrace.
وَ اجْعَلْ عُقْبَاهُ النَّارَ بَعْدَ مَحْوِ آثَارِهِ وَ سَلْبِ قَرَارِهِ، وَ أَسْكِنْهُ دَارَ بَوَارِهِ
When his traces are erased and his tranquility taken away, make his final abode the fire of Hell and grant him the full recompense of his deeds.
اَللّٰهُمَّ بَادِرْهُ، اَللّٰهُمَّ بَادِرْهُ، اَللّٰهُمَّ عَجِّلْهُ، اَللّٰهُمَّ عَجِّلْهُ وَ لَا تُؤَجِّلْهُ
O Allah! Hasten his punishment—O Allah, hasten his punishment! Punish him swiftly, and delay not his torment.
اَللّٰهُمَّ خُذْهُ، اَللّٰهُمَّ خُذْهُ، اَللّٰهُمَّ اسْلُبْهُ التَّوْفِيقَ، اَللّٰهُمَّ اسْلُبْهُ التَّوْفِيقَ
O Allah! Punish him, punish him! Take away his success, take away his success!
اَللّٰهُمَّ لَا تُنَهْنِهْهُ، اَللّٰهُمَّ لَا تُؤَخِّرْهُ، اَللّٰهُمَّ عَلَيْكَ بِهِ، اَللّٰهُمَّ اشْدُدْ قَبْضَتَكَ عَلَيْهِ
O Allah! Weaken and abase him, and do not delay! I leave him to You—O Allah, tighten the grip upon him.
وَ بِكَ اعْتَصَمْتُ عَلَيْهِ، وَ بِكَ اسْتَجَرْتُ مِنْهُ، وَ بِكَ تَوَارَيْتُ عَنْهُ
I seek refuge in You alone from his evil. Protect me from him, for I rely solely upon You against him and entrust myself entirely to You.
وَ بِكَ اسْتَكْفَيْتُ دُونَهُ، وَ بِكَ اسْتَتَرْتُ مِنْ ضَرَّائِهِ
I take refuge in You alone from the harm of his wickedness.
اَللّٰهُمَّ احْرُسْنِي بِحَرَاسَتِكَ مِنْهُ وَ مِنْ عِدَاتِكَ، وَ اكْفِنِي بِكِفَايَتِكَ كَيْدَهُ وَ كَيْدَ بُغَاتِكَ
O Allah! Guard me from him and from Your own punishment with Your divine protection, and by Your sufficiency turn away from me his plots and the plots of all Your enemies.
اَللّٰهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي بِحِفْظِ الْإِيمَانِ، وَ أَسْبِلْ عَلَيَّ سِتْرَكَ الَّذِي سَتَرْتَ بِهِ رُسُلَكَ عَنِ الطَّوَاغِيتِ
O Allah! Preserve me in my faith, and spread over me the same covering with which You sheltered Your prophets from the tyrants.
وَ حَصِّنِّي بِحِصْنِكَ الَّذِي وَقَيْتَهُمْ بِهِ مِنَ الْجَـوَابِيتِ
Admit me into that sanctuary with which You safeguarded Your prophets from all that is other than You.
اَللّٰهُمَّ أَيِّدْنِي مِنْكَ بِنَصْرٍ لَا يَنْفَكُّ، وَ عَزِيمَةِ صِدْقٍ لَا تَخْتَلُّ
O Allah, grant me support from You with an unwavering victory and a steadfast determination that does not falter.
وَ جَلِّلْنِي بِنُورِكَ، وَ اجْعَلْنِي مُتَدَرِّعاً بِدِرْعِكَ الْوَاقِيَةِ، وَ اكْلَأْنِي بِكَلَاءَتِكَ الْوَافِيَةِ
Clothe me in the light of Your guidance, shield me with Your divine armor, and protect me with Your perfect guardianship.
إِنَّكَ وَاسِعٌ لِمَا تَشَاءُ، وَ وَلِيُّ مَنْ لَكَ تَوَالَى
For You have power over all things, and You are the Guardian of those who submit to Your authority.
وَ نَاصِرُ مَنْ إِلَيْكَ آوَى، وَ عَوْنُ مَنْ بِكَ اسْتَعْدَى
You are the Helper of those who seek refuge in You and the Supporter of those who seek Your aid.
وَ كَافِي مَنْ بِكَ اسْتَكْفَى، فَإِنَّكَ الْعَزِيزُ الَّذِي لَا يُمَانَعُ عَمَّا يَشَاءُ
You are sufficient for anyone who trusts in You, for You are beloved and invincible, and no one can prevent what You will.
وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ، وَ هُوَ حَسْبِي عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ، وَ هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ و صَلَّی اللّٰهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ الطَّاهِرينَ
There is no power except the power of Allah, and He is sufficient for me. Upon Him I place my trust, for He is the Lord of the Great Throne. May Allah’s blessings be upon Muhammad and his pure family.
