اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْـأَلُكَ بِحَقِّ الْعَرْشِ وَعَظَمَتِهِ، وَبِحَقِّ الْکُرْسِيِّ وَسَعَتِهِ
O Allah! I ask You by the right of the Throne and its greatness, and by the right of the Kursi (Divine Seat) and its vastness,
وَبِحَقِّ الْقَلَمِ وَجَرْیَـتِهِ، وَبِحَقِّ اللَّوْحِ وَحِیَاطَتِهِ، وَبِحَقِّ الْمِیزَانِ وَحِدَّتِهِ
and by the right of the Pen and its flowing script, and by the right of the Tablet and its encompassing nature, and by the right of the Scale and its precision,
وَبِحَقِّ الصِّـرَاطِ وَدِقَّتِهِ، وَبِحَقِّ جَبْـرَئِیلَ وَأَمَانَتِهِ، وَبِحَقِّ مِیکَائِیلَ وَطَاعَتِهِ
and by the right of the Path (Ṣiraṭ) and its narrowness, and by the right of Jibrail (Gabriel) and his trustworthiness, and by the right of Mikail (Michael) and his obedience,
وَبِحَقِّ إِسْـرَافِیلَ وَنَفْخَتِهِ، وَبِحَقِّ عِزْرَائِیلَ وَصَوْلَتِهِ، وَبِحَقِّ نُوحٍ وَسَفِینَتِهِ
and by the right of Israfil and his blowing (of the Trumpet), and by the right of Azrail and his power (in taking souls), and by the right of Nuḥ (Noah) and his Ark,
وَبِحَقِّ هُودٍ وَهَیْـبَتِهِ، وَبِحَقِّ صَالِحٍ وَنَاقَـتِهِ، وَبِحَقِّ إِبْـرَاهِیمَ وَخُلَّتِـهِ
and by the right of Hud and his awe, and by the right of Salih and his she-camel, and by the right of Ibrahim (Abraham) and his intimate friendship (with You),
وَبِحَقِّ إِسْـمَاعِیلَ وَذَبِیحَتِهِ، وَبِحَقِّ اِسْحَاقَ وَذُرِّیَّتِهِ، وَبِحَقِّ یَعْقُوبَ وَغُرْبَتِهِ
and by the right of Ismail (Ishmael) and his being sacrificed, and by the right of Ishaq (Isaac) and his progeny, and by the right of Yaqub (Jacob) and his isolation,
وَبِحَقِّ مُوسَی وَمُنَاجَاتِهِ، وَبِحَقِّ هَارُونَ وَبَهَائِهِ، وَبِحَقِّ عُزَیْرٍ وَإِمَاتَـتِهِ
and by the right of Musa (Moses) and his praying, and by the right of Harun (Aaron) and his glory, and by the right of Uzayr and his death (and return),
وَبِحَقِّ شُعَیْبٍ وَابْنَتـِهِ، وَبِحَقِّ دَاوُدَ وَقَبْضَتِـهِ، وَبِحَقِّ سُلَیْمَانَ وَمَمْلِکَتِهِ
and by the right of Shuayb and his daughter, and by the right of Dawud (David) and his prayers, and by the right of Sulayman (Solomon) and his kingdom,
وَبِحَقِّ ذِیالْکِفْلِ وَخَشْیَتِـهِ، وَبِحَقِّ دَانِیَـالَ وَکَرَامَتِـهِ، وَبِحَقِّ الْخِضْـرِ وَسِیَاحَتِـهِ
and by the right of Dhul-Kifl and his reverence, and by the right of Daniyal (Daniel) and his dignity, and by the right of al-Khidr and his journeys,
وَبِحَقِّ أَیُّوبَ وَبَلِیَّتِـهِ، وَبِحَقِّ یُونُسَ وَدَعْوَتِـهِ، وَبِحَقِّ زَکَرِیَّا وَ عِبَادَتِـهِ
and by the right of Ayyub (Job) and his afflictions, and by the right of Yunus (Jonah) and his supplication, and by the right of Zakariyya (Zachariah) and his worship,
وَبِحَقِّ یَحیَی وَطَهَارَتِـهِ، وَبِحَقِّ عِیسَی وَزَهَادَتِـهِ، وَبِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَشَفَاعَتِـهِ
and by the right of Yaḥya (John) and his purity, and by the right of Jsa (Jesus) and his asceticism, and by the right of Muhammad (Peace be upon him and his family) and his intercession,
وَبِحَقِّ الْقُرْاٰنِ وَتِلَاوَتِـهِ، وَبِحَقِّ الْعِلْمِ وَدِرَایَتِـهِ، وَبِحَقِّ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبـِي طَالِبٍ وَشَجَاعَتِـهِ
and by the right of the Quran and its recitation, and by the right of knowledge and its understanding, and by the right of a Ali ibn Abi Talib and his bravery,
وَبِحَقِّ الْحَسَنِ وَسِمَتِـهِ، وَبِحَقِّ الْحُسَیْنِ وَشَهَادِتِـهِ، أَسْـأَلُـكَ بِحَقِّ هَؤُلَاءِ وَشَـرَفِهِمْ
and by the right of Ḥassan and his noble demeanor, and by the right of Ḥussain and his martyrdom—and by the right of Ḥussain and his martyrdom
أَنْ تَجْعَلَنِـي فـِي حِرْزِكَ وَحِفْظِـكَ، یَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِینَ، یَا مَنْ یَـمْلِکُنِـي لَا تُهْلِکْنِـي
to place me in Your protection and Your care, O the Most Merciful of the merciful! O the One who owns me—do not destroy me!
