It is reported from Imam al-Sadiq (Peace be upon him) that Imam Ali ibn al-Hussain (Peace be upon him) said, “If I say these words, I do not care if all humans and jinn gather to harm me.”
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ وَ بِاللّٰهِ وَ مِنَ اللّٰهِ وَ إِلَی اللّٰهِ، وَ فِي سَبِیلِ اللّٰهِ، وَ عَلیَ مِلَّةِ رَسُولِ اللّٰهِ صَلَّی اللّٰهُ عَلَیْهِ وَ آلِهِ
In the name of Allah, by Allah, from Allah, to Allah, and for the sake of Allah, and upon the creed of the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him and his family).
اللّٰهُمَّ إِلَیْكَ أَسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِي، وَ إِلَیْكَ أَلْجَأْتُ ظَهْرِي
O Allah! To You, I submit myself, to You, I entrust my back,
وَ إِلَیْكَ وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِي، وَ إِلَیْكَ فَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِي
To You, I turn my face, and to You, I commit my affairs.
اللّٰهُمَّ احْفَظْني بِحِفْظِ الْإِیمَانِ
O Allah! Protect me with the protection of faith,
مِنْ بَیْنِ یَدَيَّ وَ مِنْ خَلْفِي، وَ عَنْ یَمِینِي وَ عَنْ شِمَالِي، وَ مِنْ فَوْقِي وَ مِنْ تَحْتِي وَ مِنْ قِبَلِي
From before me and behind me, from my right and my left, from above me and beneath me, and from every direction.
وَ ادْفَعْ عَنِّي بِحَوْلِكَ وَ قُوَّتِكَ، فَإِنَّهُ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إلَّا بِكَ
And repel from me by Your power and strength, for surely, there is no power nor strength except by You.
